ABM- So how'd you get your RAP name?

My mother started calling me Kaboo at the age of two, and she passed away when I was three. My aunt, which I also call Mom, made sure that I always kept that name. The infamous came with certain events in my life. Plenty of street events which gave me the name Infamous. So there it is, Infamous Kaboo.

ABM- Where you from?

I was born in Oakland, lived in San Francisco Hunters Point till the age of seven years old, and have lived in Fairfield from the age of seven years old till today.

ABM- What are some of the experiences you have growing up there? How have those experiences shaped your career.

Nothing different than in any other place in America, as far as urban, or some consider called in that Ghetto life. Learning who you are with the life. These situations have given me balance, to take the bitter with the sweet. The Jail, the guns, the robberies, the murders, everything that comes with the life. Every where is the same, the same things happen in different places, just at a different pace. All these certain events, adversities, situations, are ones people couldn't stand through. These situations have given me balance, to take the bitter with the sweet.

ABM - Ok, so on to the music side of you'r life, what are you currently working on?

Im working on a project called "24 & Some Moe" which Im trying to drop it January, and I'm also working on a Tonite Show with DJ Fresh which is set to drop March/April. I'm also working on a slew of new music video visuals, trying to basically get better as a artist in a very saturated market. I've done some music with Philthy Rich, Shady Nate, A-Wax, which all will be featured on my upcoming projects.

ABM- What influences you to go forward with your music?

Beyond it being a natural passion, its a platform to do other things with my life. I do not plan to being a rapper for my whole life. I plan on opening new business, acting, things of that nature. Just being a person thats creative, I cannot deny that I am creative, that creativity flows within me.

ABM- If you could work with 5 artists, who would they be?

I think they'd be Nas, T.I., Wale, Jill Scott, and Musiq Soulchild. There is a lot more, but at this current moment those are the artists Im choosing for the moment.

ABM- Where can people find you?

I wanna shout out to everyone out there who is sleeping on me, who don't acknowledge a guy like me, I thank you in advance, thats a huge motivating factor. Shout outs to everyone who does support my career. Ian, I thought you disappeared on me for a second so I am glad to see you made it to issue three. Everyone who supports me though, you know who you are, I love you, One Love!!
