ABM: Whats Your Name?

Rahmean: aka Rah-da-da-mean

ABM: Howd you get your Name Rahmean?

Rahmean: Its my real first name. Which means keeper of the arms.

ABM: Tell us more, where you're from, what kind of music you listen to, favorite artists, ect.

Rahmean: I'm from West Oakland, born in East Palo Alto, I listen to real music, reggae, old school music, old school mob music like 3xKrazy, Dru Down, DMX, CBO, E40, Cellski, Lee Majors, The Jacka, The Mob Figaz, and of course I listen to my own music.

ABM: What made you interested in becoming a musician?

Rahmean: When I was younger my brother Lee Majors used to be rapping with guys like Scoot from the Hood Starz, and Reazon from Side Industry, so I remembered there rhymes, I used to recite what they were saying at a young age, and then that developd into freestyling, then that developd into my writing. I also play instruments like the Snare Drum, and I can play the trumpet really good, although it has been awhile. I been smokin, so it might be really really hard to blow that joint for a whole note. Come oooooon!

ABM: Tell us about Action Jackson, whos on it, who produced it.

Rahmean: Its produced by the Nephews(HOT), Lev Berlak(ILL), Pac Slap(SICK), Tatem 1(RAW), Mr. 365(DOPE), with Crackbaby Entertainment's Own Secret Weapons FX, Kayda Kev, and Rukuss Beats. Everyone on the record is a weapon. People featured on the record like Dru Down, Lee Majors, The Jacka, Ike Dola, Matt Blaque, Fam Syrk, Keyon Cash, as well as my newest artist on Crackbaby Entertainment Big Heezy. It's also a DVD Movie, Don't that sound good?

ABM: Any new hot songs or features that you feel the public should know about?

Rahmean: On the record I have in stores "Dreadlock Rock Muzic", the current single is "Bagg Back", which is produced by Lee Majors, I also have a follow up single, titled "Woo Woo", which features The Jacka, Lee Majors, and Fam Syrk, whichh was produced by Pac Slap. I also have videos for both singles, you can find them on you tube, or vimeo.

ABM: What made you actually take you're career seriously?

Rahmean: In 1996 my brother and I did a record with Alan Blackwell, who produced APG, which was a hot group from the 80's. The group we were in was called West Side Industry. In 1999 we took the west off the group title, my brother, Reazon and I put out a new group called Side Industry, Million Dollar Dream put out our record, and we achieved a lot of sales on the record. The buzz was getting around in the streets, and people were vibing on my style, and some were even calling me one of the best rappers in the group. From many people telling me I was a dope rapper, and I like to rap, and I make real music, and I have a good distinction between real and wack music. I started taking my career seriously becausee I was getting good feedback, and It made me push harder, to feed back better the people who were already fans of my music. So I want my fans happy too, cause a lot of people believe in me. Believe me.

ABM: Who are some of the artists you have worked with?

Rahmean: I've worked with Keak Da Sneak, Yukmouth, Dru Down, The Regime, The Mob Figaz, Husulah, The Jacka, AP9, Matt Blaque, San Quinn, and a host of other artists from my region and beyond. I worked with a lot of people out of state, in Kansas City (KC), New Jersey, Philidelphia, Harrisburg in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Atlanta.

ABM: Anybody you'd like to thank?

Rahmean: I just want to thank the lord for being blessed, and being in a blessed environment. Id like to thank my Mom, for being so powerful, and making me such a strong minded person, who wont take no for a answer. I also want to thank my Mob Father Holly Rock, for keeping my kicks laced with authentic Oakland game from the 80's and basically taking me under his wing, the streets really looked up to Holly Rock, so the streets really embraced me from that. So thanks to Holly Rock. I'd also like to thank my brother Lee Majors, for keeping me lit, and always pushing.
