ABM- So how'd you get your rap name?
Basically got my rap name cause I am a big time pot head, and my eyes use to get hella red, so basically from being hot headed and all. . . it just transferred into my music name.
ABM- Where you from?
San Francisco Mission District, California's Finest man!
ABM- What are some of the experiences you have growing up there?
To be honest I've had some up and some downs. I've been shot, I've had to really hustle to put food on the table, some good and some bad. Basically living the life a lot of us live here in the bay. A lot of late nights hustling, and a lot of struggling, all kinds of shit really.
ABM- Ok, so on to the music side of you'r life, what are you currently working on?
Right now I got something coming out under DLK Enterpirse, with Telly Mac from the Gamblaz, called "The Gambla and the Good Felon". We got a bunch of people on there like Lil Rue, Laroo the Hard Hitta, Boo Banga, Matt Blaque, The Jacka, Mazerati Red, Lil Blood, and Mac Mall. We tapping in really just trying to cover all these bases. I also have a album coming out with Gold Toes, and City Hall Distribution, my guy Walter, all of which are kinda dropping at the same time.
ABM- Whats some of the big accomplishments you've had in your career?
I did a few songs with the Outlawz, I also did a joint with The Game. The music features I've collaborated with, I am proud of. I also opened up for a few big name acts like Lil Flip, and the Wu Tang Clan. Pretty much just traveling and bumping into artists and bigger artists who are beyond regional, I am proud of, you know!
ABM- What influences you to go forward with your music?
I'm blessed to be under guys like JT The Bigga Figga. It makes it interesting to see people where I am from, who do it, and basically make nothing into something.
