V Nasty

White Girl Mobbin' · East Oakland

Since the bubble popped with fellow White Girl Mob member Kreayshawn, her single has people screaming and yelling the popular lyrics, which has caused much press and uproar with rappers like The Game, and Rick Ross to name a few. Now we get a quick moment with the Oakland White Girl Mob Emcee.

ABM- So you wanna start of with anything?

VN: Ey, man! Shout out to Big Chuck and E Class, and The Rap Manager for the interview man, you know what I'm talking about? V-Nasty. I'm here in East Oakland in my real hood. Friends in here, you know what I'm talking about!!? (Laughs) What's up though man?

ABM- How did you get your name, "V-Nasty"?

VN: You know, up in the hood, being called Mo' Nasty, and Nee Nasty. You know what I'm saying? Me Nasty. My first name initial is V, so V-Nasty. I got it from…well… me and my partners and shit. You know, kicking it and what not. The name just stuck with me in the industry. V-Nasty. So now its my rap name!

ABM- What would you say are your breaks coming up as a rapper? What things helped you in your career?

VN: I really believe my probation officer helped me in my career. My sister (Kreayshawn) has also contributed a lot. We help each other out. We work together. Also don't forget the Big Man Stretch, my manager.

ABM- How does it feel to get somewhere in the industry so fast?

VN: Really this music just came to me. God, He's also really what got me to where I'm at. Feel me? This music came to me out of nowhere and this shits like "Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom", and I'm a real rapper now. Yeah!!!

ABM- Who are some of the people that you've worked with in hip-hop in the last couple of years?

VN: In the last year I've worked with my sis Kreayshawn, Mistah Fab, The Bizness, DB tha General, Quise The Criminal, Snoop Dog, Gucci Mane. You feel me?

ABM- How do you feel about some of the press?

VN: I've got a lot of haters… but I'm out here to make music and represent the industry the best way I can. I'm a product of my environment, but from a lot of the press and feedback, I am also growing and working on a few things.

ABM- How was ATL?

VN: Man, I'm working with Zaytoven. I fuck with ATL so tough. Y'all ain't ready for what I did. Y'all ain't ready for all that I'm doing right now. I got to rock with Gucci Mane literally a day before he went to jail, thats my folks.

ABM- Anything cool you wanna share with us?

VN: Hell yeah, I also worked with Joel Madden from Good Charlotte… and I'm still talking about hood shit!!! You feel me? Cause I ain't changing for nobody. I'm from East Oakland and I'll never leave. You know what I'm talking about?

ABM- Any shout outs?

VN: Shout out to my White Girl Mob Kreayshawn, Lil Debbie, Stretch, and The Rap Manager, E Class, and Big Chuck for the interview. All my Bay Area and Miami folks. Also shout out to DB Tha General, check me out in his new music video "Top Hat". See y'all.
