Blanco & The Jacka proudly release their album OBEY, the second course in a three course meal of free albums. Featuring guests such as Freeway, Dru Down, Messy Marv, Mistah F.A.B., Krondon, and others, OBEY actively captures the edgy delivery of Blanco and The Jacka in combination with DJ Toure’s composed production. In the video for “This Is Your GOD,” Blanco and The Jacka find themselves in a shootout reminiscent of a scene from hit show Breaking Bad. Meanwhile, in the video for “Submit” featuring Freeway, the guys rap alongside vivid imagery that portrays the desolate theme of conforming to society. The album maintains a groove that sustains from the first beat till the final fade out. Blanco’s label, Guerilla Entertainment, is now releasing OBEY for free download.
On April 15, Blanco and The Jacka will be joined by Messy Marv to release One Hunnid, produced entirely by Grammy-winning duo Tha Bizness. A follow-up to 2010’s Jonestown, the new album will feature Nipsey Hussle, YG, Freeway, and Trae the Truth.
