L Rucus

ABM: What is your stage name?

LRucus: My stage name is L.Rucus pronounced (EL-Rukus)

ABM: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?

LRucus: I’m from Vallejo, CA. It’s the same as a lot of places in the Bay Area and other cities. It’s a cool spot to live, it has it areas you gotta be aware of and just don’t cause any trouble. I’m a pretty lowkey person so I normally don’t ruffle feathers and just keep it chill and respectful. Outside of just random shit happening in the bay, I can’t say its all bad, just love the city I grew up in and appreciate how it made me and what it taught me.

ABM: What inspired you to pursue music as a career?

LRucus: When I first listened to Kanye West it definitely peaked my interest. I never listened to music like that, it wasn’t a thing in my house hold, but when i was out with the homies and just chilling, hearing what they listened to and what was dope around that time really opened my eyes up. I started rapping in class, beating on the desks and all that, making beats. I always wrote poetry and used it as an outlet to express myself, but then when i first got in touch with a cat who had a studio or a booth, it was history. I was hooked with creating.

ABM: What’s your next visual you plan on releasing, tell us about it.

LRucus: The latest visual i’m releasing is one title “What you say” dropping March 2nd. It’s a dope storyline with a a lot of visually captivating stuff going on. Can’t tell you too much other than it’ll be a great watch from start to finish and i can’t wait for everyone to see it.

ABM: Is there any reputable artists you have worked with so far in your career?

ABM: Is there any artists you would like to work with in the future?
