Drug Kingpin Alpo Martinez shot and killed in Harlem

This morning, Choke No Joke (@chokenojokeofficial) confirmed that a 55-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting on a Harlem street corner. The victim was struck multiple times in the chest in a hail of bullets fired from a passing vehicle on W. 147th St. near Frederick Douglass Blvd. just after 3:20 a.m., cops said.

The man died, after being rushed to the hospital. Police are so far not releasing his name to us, but we believe the deceased may be notorious former drug dealer/killer Alpo Martinez.

Multiple insiders are saying that the man who was shot and killed this morning was Alpo.

Alpo was drug dealer of Puerto Rican ancestry from Harlem, New York City. He rose to prominence in the mid–1980s, and became famous after being played by the rapper Cam’ron in the popular 2002 biographical movie Paid In Full.

Martinez had an extremely violent history, and is believed to have killed dozens of people.

Martinez was released in 2015 while serving a 35-year sentence for 14 counts of murder at ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison located in Fremont County, Colorado. He got out early because he testified against former associates and has since been living under a United States witness protection program.

But Alpo wasn’t living in the shadows however. He returned to Harlem and was living openly.
