Check out this photo of the home the world famous Drug Lord Pablo Escobar, where lived in when he visited Miami. The Home was purchased by the owners of the restaurant chain Chicken Kitchen who plan to demolish it. But they have also hired a team of folks to dig thru the house for any lost treasure and they indeed found something they had to turn over to police.
The current mansion, built in 1948, sits on a 7,336-square-foot plot with 150 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay. Miami-Dade County records show that Escobar bought the property in March 1980 for $762,500. U.S. authorities seized the mansion in 1987, along with $20 million. Escobar was killed in a shootout with Colombian authorities in 1993.
De Berdouare purchased the property in 2014 for $9.65 million.
