Kany West may have caught the attention of the wrong crowd with some of his recent actions. The “hacktivist” group known as Anonymous have released a 7-minute video taking aim at West.
In the video, a shadowy figure can be seen detailing the group’s grip with the rap star, within a Matrix-styled backdrop. No punches are pulled, as the subjects of discussion range from Kanye’s marriage to Kim, to his fashion obsession. What seems to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, is Yeezy “obnoxiously” comparing himself to beloved Renaissance Man, Michelangelo.
“It’s time to awaken from your insanity Mr. West. In reality you’re not a Renaissance man, you’re just are a new slave that the industry uses to keep the population in a cycle of stupidity and distraction.” It’s not 100% known whether this video is the true work of the group, either way the message should not be taken lightly.
