Are Jay Z, 45, and Beyonce, 34, about to announce their divorce? Hollywood’s power couple have been fronting for the cameras, according to InTouch and Bey is said to be “sick” of it. No more pretending to be happy for appearances sake, the couple have decided to end their 7-year-marriage. But what was the final straw for the “Drunk In Love” duo?

“Bey is sick of keeping up the ruse of happiness and she’s done,” an insider claims. The shocking report claims that this is why Beyonce hasn’t given an interview to the press in over 18 months. “It’s like she’s on lockdown and doesn’t want to be asked about her marriage or why she and Jay haven’t had another child … But in private, she’s already told friends and family that she’s moving forward with her life. She’ll soon make a public announcement that their marriage is over.” Wow, this is so sad, we feel awful for their daughter, Blue Ivy, if it’s true.

The report also claims that Beyonce and Jay haven’t worn their wedding rings regularly in months and that she had her tattoo, the Roman numeral IV that signified their wedding date, removed from her ring finger. “Earlier this summer, Bey found some suspicious texts on Jay’z phone that led her to believe he was having a secret flirtatious communication with one of his proteges.” But let’s also keep in mind that Jay just recently dedicated a song on Sept. 4 to Beyonce for her recent birthday: “This song reminds me of you and I on vacation. ‘Look at the stars, look how they shine for you.’ So many legendary nights. It represents vulnerability; it’s us in our own world, away from work and totally lost in love. ‘For you, I bleed myself dry.’”

But why didn’t they attend the 2015 MTV VMAs together? They reportedly got into a fight because Bey didn’t want to go because they aren’t staying together. Plus, she thinks Jay has a thing for Rita Ora! “Beyonce is fully in charge of how the divorce announcement is going to be made. She is going to play the victim card to the hilt.” To make matters even worse, Jay has to testify in October in a lawsuit over their 1999 hit, Big Pimpin, and the mogul is worried about his finances being made public. This could mean that gifts he may have bought other women would be brought out in the open. “Jay has lived the high life and the single life all while he’s been with Beyonce. He has an entire world without her. He stays out all night at times, partying with women while Beyonce’s at home.”

First, the positive: Nicki Minaj, looking stunning in a tight gold dress, won the Moonman for best Hip-hop video for “Anaconda.” After sincerely thanking her fans and also — randomly — her pastor, Minaj kicked it back to host Cyrus by saying, “Now, back to this b—h that had a lot to say about me in the press the other day….Miley what’s good?”

Minaj was referring to Cyrus’ interview with the New York Times this week where she seemed to diss Minaj by saying that Minaj’s remarks about race in the Video of the Year category were “very Nicki Minaj,” whom she described as “not too kind” and “not very polite…I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love. You don’t have to start this pop star against pop star war,” Cyrus explained at the time.

Up until this moment, neither woman had said anything else about it.

Cyrus, for her part, didn’t seem all that flustered about being called out by Minaj. To not getting a VMA, Cyrus smartly snapped, “It was no big deal! I persevered!” and also noted, “We’re all in this industry, we’ve both done interviews, we know how they manipulate s–t.” She then congratulated Nicki on her award and kept rolling, while the camera showed Minaj still appearing to angrily yell at Cyrus while Cyrus continued on with the show.

Nicki Minaj may have buried the hatchet with Taylor Swift earlier in the evening, but she’s not taking Cyrus’ remarks sitting down. Stay tuned?

During his acceptance speech at the 2015 Video Music Awards, the rapper announced his “plans” to run for president. The outspoken artist didn’t thank anyone for the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, but urged the youth to follow their dreams. He also reflected on his past career choices, noting he had to “die” for his message to live.

“Bro! BRO! Listen to the kids! … First of all, thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and giving me this award this evening. I often think back to the first day I met you, also. You know, I think about that when I’m in the grocery store with my daughter and I have a really great conversation about pressed juice, and at the end, they say, ‘Oh, you’re not that bad, after all.’ And when I go to a baseball game and 60,000 people boo me, it crosses my mind a little bit.

I think, if I had to do it all again, what would I have done? Would I have worn a leather shirt? Would I have drank a half a bottle of Hennessy and given the rest of it to the audience? … If I had a daughter at that time, would I have went on stage and grabbed the mic from someone else’s? You know, this arena tomorrow is going to be a completely different set-up. … This stage will be gone. After that night, the stage is gone, but the effect that it had on people will remain.

The problem was the contradiction. The contradiction is that I do fight for artists, but in that fight, I somehow was disrespectful to artists. I didn’t know how to say the right thing, the perfect thing. I sat at the Grammys and saw Justin Timberlake and Cee Lo lose. … I ain’t trying to put you on blast, Justin, but I saw that man in tears, though. I thought, “He deserved to win Album of the Year.” And in the small box that we are, as the entertainers of the evening, how do you explain that?

Sometimes, I feel like I died for the artist’s opinion, for the artist to have an opinion after they were successful. I’m not no politician, bro! … And do you know how many times MTV ran that footage, because it got them more ratings?

I don’t understand how they get five people who work their entire lives … to come, stand on a carpet and, for the first time in their lives, be judged on a chopping block and have the opportunity to be considered a loser. Drake is a busy guy with his new album date approaching and the VMA performance.  Drake released cover art recently for his new album Nothing Was The Same, and now he has released three song names off the album that we haven’t heard about yet in the same interview with BillBoard.  The song titles and producers are:  “Wu Tang Forever”  produced by 40, “305 To My City” produced by Detail, and “Trophies” produced by Hit-Boy.  Drake is working hard to stay at the top and shows a more fulfilled view of life in this album.

Their album The Heist went gold then platinum shortly after by selling over 1,000,000 copies.  They received 3 awards at the VMA’s for their songs “Can’t Hold Us” and “Same Love”.  After the awards ceremony they saw a spike in sales and sold 19,000 copies this week.

Macklemore’s preaches a positive outlook in his raps by covering topics such as rehab and gay marriage.  These topics are gaining him popularity throughout the world and making parents feel better about letting their kids listen to hip hop which is a great thing for all your other favorite rappers.

Too Short confirmed the rumors today saying he knew her DJ, DJ White Shadow, got back from traveling recently and White Shadow hit him up saying, “There’s a song that Lady Gaga’s doing that possibly they would want to get you on” and Too Short’s response was, “shit I’m down with it!”.  He went on to tell MTV, “I figure on her end it’s great to work with the classics or the legends and on my end just it’s great to work with one of the hottest artists on the planet. It’s a big fucking deal.”.

The song they are getting on is supposed to be released through a live performance that Too Short himself will be a part of.  It should be a very interesting mix and it will be good for Too Short because he hasn’t been to active lately in hip hop news.

Other hip hop highlights of the show included Kanye West doing a spooky performance to “Blood On The Leaves” that was done in darkness with Steve McQueen’s infamous photograph “Lynching Tree” dimly lit behind him.  Kanye tweeted before his performance telling fans that is was a lynching tree. Both performances were respectable and a new era for Kanye at the VMA’s after previous shocking performances.  This was Kanye’s seventh VMA’s performance, tying with Modanna for the most performances for an artist.

Ryan Lewis and Macklemore won a lot of awards last night as well as Justin Timberlake.  Jason Collins introduced the duo who performed “Same Love” the song with singer Mary Lambert and surprise guest Jennifer Hudson that got an award for “Best Video with a Social Message” .

Kendrick Lamar surprisingly didn’t receive any awards from his 14 nominations.  Drake had a good explosive performance as he promised, however didn’t receive any awards either.

Kanye West, who has a reputation for being grim at times, appeared to show a different side on the talk show.  The sincerity in his voice helps his case when spilling out his heart on national television. Kanye touched on how the baby has changed the outlook he has on life as he knew it.  Kanye touches on how much he is in love with Kim and that even doubling the amount of paparazzi he has around him because of both their popularity wasn’t even an issue for how much joy he has felt from his newly formed family.

The beautiful baby was then dissected for who her looks came from specifically. Kanye makes a funny statement by saying, “I pray that she looks like her mother when she’s older.” and after Kris was the first to say what most of us are thinking, “I think she is an amazing combination of the two of you. She is so adorable. She has Kim’s eyes, I think she has your cheeks and both of your lips.”.

Kanye said,  “You know, my grandfather just passed and this whole thing was never about money, it was never about popularity. His whole thing was joy, just joy, like having joy in his life and she’s my joy and she brought my new joy into the world and there’s no paparazzi… and there’s nothing that’s going to take that joy from me.”

Kanye then touches on his notorious moment at the 2009 MTV VMA’s when he went up on stage and took Taylor Swifts limelight by saying that Beyonce deserved the award instead of T Swift.  Now having a baby girl of his own he would never want that to happen to her and it has made him regret his actions that night. His exact words were, “The last thing I would want to happen to my daughter is some crazy drunk black guy in a leather shirt to come up and cut her off at an awards show,” the rapper admitted. “That’s the last thing I’d want.”.  It will be interesting how his baby and new family will change his style as a rapper and fashion designer.
