ABM: What is your story in terms of music, when did you start making music?

Breezo: I started taking my music seriously last year, but I’ve been playing around since I was 16 years old.

ABM: Where are you from? How did your upbringing in Northern California influence your career?

Breezo: I’m from San Francisco 1200 eddy st.

ABM: Do you have any music visuals in the works?

Breezo: Yes, I am currently working on “Richer Part of Eddy” music video. Also, two more videos off my new project PS2 live from tha 6.

ABM: How do you feel about the protests, and the black lives matter movement?

Breezo: I feel like people should listen too what the protesters & us blacks are saying so they can understand, instead of judging.

ABM: Do you have any other projects in the works?

Breezo: Yes I’m continuing my perfect storm Trilogy with perfect storm 3,4,&5 all in the works now.

ABM: What inspired you to pursue being an artist professionally?

Breezo: Pain , & struggles , losing close friends & relatives made me want change instead of being in the streets.

ABM: Do you have any other lanes in music that interest you

Breezo: Nah I don’t want to change any lines just wanna stay me & showcase my city

ABM: Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

Breezo: Being tha biggest artist from San Francisco to ever do it

King K: Full stage name is King K From The Bay but I tend to keep it short and go with just King K. King K derived from me doing music. I’ve worked with many types of people in music and I often heard people say “Damn King you be killin em” in reference to making music. King being my last name and the K stands for kill em.

ABM: What is your story in terms of music, when did you start making music? 


King K: I have been around music since an early age like most artists out there. I can remember as far back as me being a little kid with my curly afro riding shotgun in my brothers Honda listening to cassette tapes featuring artists like 2 Pac, Biggie, Nas, Outkast, Jay-Z, Kriss Kross, KRS-One, and the list goes on. Music caught my ear at an early age and I was hooked ever since. When I got older, I started to learn about the music game more. In High school I had friends who were into recording and was putting out music. I would see the reaction of people when they heard their tracks and I became intrigued. I didn’t get into music at the time because I was into sports and went on to play baseball professionally for a couple of years after high school. After my career ended in sports I started hanging around the music scene. I started off by going to studios with other artists and started giving my input on their records. From There I started to dabble in producing and then recorded a couple of tracks. After a few years of helping my friends who were artists they told me that I need to really get into making my own music and push it. So here I am today pursuing my passion of making quality music for the people.

ABM: How did your upbringing in the Bay Area influence your career?

King K: Going to high school and living in the Bay Area had a lot to do with the influence of my music career. As you know the Bay Area is so cultured. The creativity and artwork out here is second to none. Growing up in a low to middle class family gave me the foundation to go after my music career. As I stated before I had a heavy sports background and I believe that gave me the foundation needed to not only succeed in sports but whatever I put my mind to. I’ve learned that if you really want to make something happen, you’re going to have to go out there and grind. Life is a fucking grind for real and anything worth having takes time to manifest. In my upbringing I’ve learned to be patient, focused, hard working, resilient and humble.

ABM: Do you have any music visuals in the works?

King K: At the moment I am working on the concepts for potential music videos for my 3 singles: “Be Something”, “Dodgin” and “Play My Shit”. Once the concepts are finalized we will be moving forward with production.

ABM: How do you feel about the protests, and the black lives matter movement?


King K: I don’t really like to get into the politics of what is going on in the world too much. What I will say is that everyone has the right to protest. It is their first amendment right. As long as it is peaceful, I’m all for it but if protests become violent then that is crossing the line for me. We need positivity and support to bring us all together not violence.

ABM: Do you have any other projects in the works?

King K: I always have something in the works. No planned mixtapes or albums at the moment but I am always working on singles. I am currently working with artists all through California to bring good music to the people.

ABM: What inspired you to pursue being an artist professionally?

KingK: The impact your music can have on single person or a group of people. I have heard multiple times that my songs have helped a person get through their day. It’s really a good feeling to hear that. Being an artist professionally will allow me to reach a larger audience on that level. The obvious perks that can come with doing music professionally inspire also: financial freedom, fame, etcetera but that is honestly not the sole reason I do it. I fucking love and appreciate seeing people vibe to my music! Watching someone sing along to your track is a euphoric feeling!

ABM: Do you have any other lanes in music that interest you?

KingK: Some other lanes I am going to get into is producing and the engineering side of the music game. I am also looking into starting a clothing line as well as a future music label for independent artists.

ABM: Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?


KingK:
In 5 years I plan on having some major features on the resume. Hopefully this pandemic goes away so I can get into clubs and major venues. It would dope as fuck to go on tour and open up for some major artists. With all that being said, at the end of the day I hope I still have the same loyal fans and many more who vibe to my music.

ABM: Is there any artists you would like to work with in the future?


KingK: Of course. I would like to work with any dope artist out there. Anyone In addition to those artists above, I would like to work with some female artists such as Saweetie, Kehlani, Jhene Aiko.

ABM: Is there any last words or shout outs?

KingK: I would like to shout out everyone who supports my music out there. Family, friends, DJ’s, promoters, producers and artists. No names needed, you know who you are. 4Ren: 4Ren is what they call me, some may know me as 4TG (@4renthegreat) which was my SoundCloud name, and my label I rep is M.O.B. ENT (Men of Business Entertainment) founded by my brother Preemo Gambino. 


ABM: Where are you from, and what was it like growing up there?



4Ren: I grew up in Phillly (Philadelphia) and DMV area. As a child me and my mother moved around a lot. I have spent some time in Florida, Texas, and North Carolina. My whole family is from South Philly, and North Philly. Philly is a place that will make or break a person, its one of those places that you see good but theres also a lot of bad as well. I never realized how crazy it is growing up in inner cities till I grew up, a lot of people I know didn’t make it past 25, it’s sad… but it’s the honest truth. Even though moving around as a youngin was stressful I wouldn’t trade that life experience for anything, I feel like its the reason that I like so many different types of hip hop music.



ABM: What are your last full length releases people can go check out right now?



4Ren: My latest releases consist of my new hit “She Do Not Luv Me”, which is a iTunes exclusive. I also got a single “Mind Dying” featuring Preemo Gambino. That single is available on Preemo Gambino’s SoundCloud account. Lastly, my single 12AM, which can be found on my personal SoundCloud account. Each three of these songs all provide a different type of vibe that the youth and OG’S can all relate too.


ABM: What are you currently working on?



4Ren: I’m in the works of cooking up for another EP “Apex Predator 2”, the original one is on SoundCloud as well, I choose the name “Apex Predator” cause  it means top of the food chain, we all know that Apex Predator is something that has no real threat in it’s environment, thats what hip hop is about, being so cold with punch lines, flows, cadence, and melody that its hard to compare you to anyone cause your so original. I feel as though that should be the goal for every artist.


ABM: What’s your last visual release people can check out, tell us about it.


4Ren: My last visual was “She Do Not Luv Me” shot by Rico The Producer. This song to me is something that I feel like anyone can relate too, its a story telling song with a small amount of RNB and melody rap.


ABM: Is there any artists you would like to work with in the future?


4Ren: I’d like to work with people like Mozzy, Boe Sosa, Lil Uzi Vert, Meek Mill, Skimask the Slumpgod, Juicewrld999, Chief Keef, E-40, Lil Pete, Lil Yee, Lil Blood, Philthy Rich, Lil Durk, Nav, Trippie Red, Tee Grizzely ,S.O.B., Too Short, Lil Bibby , G-Herbo, and Travis Scott.


ABM: Any business ventures you wanna tell the public about?

4Ren:  Honestly I don’t know if I should be saying this, a lot of people gone think I’m capping but no cap Q.C. called me and I spoke with Coach K. I almost was on that Lil baby and Yo Gotti song (Put a Date On It), but it was bad timing so it fell through, but hopefully one day I could still work with Q.C. No lie I was big mad for a little, but everything happens for a reason.

Both artists have a lot in common right now, Meek Mill is also fresh out of jail and has had his criminal case put in question by many leading government officials to defense attorneys, and both 10 Milli Milli and Meek Mill are at the center of attention right now, and so its only natural they are in a discussion about criminal justice reform.

Word on the street is 10 Milli Milli is in the process of starting a non profit and he plans on giving back through his charity, and that in fact he is going to continue his fight for Criminal Justice Reform.

None the less, why else would Budden be aiming for Drake. After the beef they wanted to treat Drake like he was Pac, and for the street poets who witnessed real beefs, this was nothing close to that. None the less I can take it in with both sides and say Drake came at Meek quickly and precise and the cards landed. Some people feel different and feel Meek held his own.

Regardless of the fact Joe Budden I feel like is definitely at his crib right now rapping some shit as French Montana put it, but thats okay, he’s a true MC, thats fine. But if you look closely he’s not forgetting his opponents past and he’s doing as much as he can to make his own mark, and lately he’s taking shots at whoever is involved or in the way, or has something to say.

As a writer and someone who appreciates being dedicated, it does not seem like Joe Budden is focused on a album, but with all the energy being put forth, a big record deal sure would make this interesting, considering Joe Budden has declared war, stated he is gonna continue to making cuts aimed at Drake.

Although maybe the outer perimeter of hip hop might not be watching, due to being addicted to the big chains and club singles, the surveyors of true hip hop are keeping there tabs, and as it continues to unfold, I wonder if Drake will show hip hop and the MC’s out there that hitmaking is the only way to end a rap beef. Will Drake come with bars in the form of another quote-un-quote hit that his large fan base will devour it as the end of Joe Budden?

Or worse will we see another crazy OVO fan do something stupid over a test of wits, and a test of beef? My humble opinion, if Meek and AR-AB can get through it, than so can Joe Budden and a crazed fan.

I think he has some proof that he should be carrying a weapon on him and that fans who invade a artists personal space are considered dangerous. None the less things have been unfolding, and we cannot say Joe Budden is not moving the ground beneath him.
