]]> As expected, Kanye’s new album has a lot of controversy and rumors surrounding it’s release on Tidal this morning.  T.L.O.P. was scheduled to be released a couple days ago and there is a couple reasons it could have been delayed.  Martin Shkreli (The one who bought the Wu-Tang album for 2 million and tried to bail Bobby Shmurda out of jail) would like to believe that was his doing, after his publicity stunt of trying to prevent the public release of T.L.O.P. by offering 10 million for the exclusive rights… He made the offer over twitter and following tweeted “Kanye and his label are legally required to take my offer letter to their Board of Directors. This should delay the album by a few days”.  Sure enough, the album was delayed by a few days, however Kanye tweeted out that it was delayed because Chance The Rapper wanted to make sure the single “Waves” was on the album.  An added reason to think Kanye would even consider a buy out from Shkreli, is his unveiling tweet stating “I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart…”.  Which seems outrageous, however is backed up by multiple media outlets and entrepreneurs in the fashion industry that claim that Yeezy went into debt after trying to start his fashion brands.  Maybe that 10 million seemed a bit more enticing in that light, however Yeezy would never let some desperate billionaire stop the message and shine of his new work that he claims to of spent years making.

The title had been up in the air for a while and Kanye offered to give tickets to season 3 and free Yeezy’s to anyone who guessed what the abbreviation T.L.O.P. stood for. Kanye said, “Everyone was wrong”, the title stands for The Life Of Pablo which derives from The Life Of Paul, which is a story in the bible. However there was one person who did guess the title right, Dante Holley, who got blown up by fans as they saw he had guessed that was the title before the track list was posted.  He hasn’t heard from Yeezy yet but maybe Ye hasn’t caught wind of him yet.  The Album art is very abstract and includes an old family portrait of the West family and a picture of a white girls fat ass in front of an orange backgrounded with fragmented block lettering that reads “The Life Of Pablo” and “Which One”.  Apparently the picture is not of Kim but she picked the photo that was used.

The 18 track project has been getting a lot of good reviews and people are comparing it to his most quotable album “College Dropout”.  People are saying that he approached this project like he hadn’t made it yet and that the project was very well thought out.  A lot of the singles were released prior to the full project release, however there has been a major buzz around T.L.O.P. with over 20 million people who tuned into the live stream at Madison Garden and an unprecedented amount of people tuning in this morning to Tidal.

]]> Chance The Rapper is coming to Beats 1, Apple’s progressive online radio network.

Now that Drake, Pharrell, and most recently, DJ Khaled have their own Beats 1 Radio shows, Chance The Rapper has decided sign on with Apple for his own segment.

Announced on Skateboard P’s OTHERtone today, Chance has a new show — most likely called WorldWideChicago — coming to the fast-growing network, and while we have no info on what the SURF emcee will be focusing on in his new venture, it seems it may revolve around the music of his hometown.

We’ll keep you updated with details on when the first episode will be airing. Until then, stay tuned to Chance The Rapper’s Twitter account where he’s been sharing minor details on the upcoming show.

Could this be the platform he’s chosen to debut his long-awaited follow-up to Acid Rap? We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
