TRM: What's up with Blow?
JB: What's happenin?
TRM: Just checking in with you, bro. What have you got popping right now?
JB: We've got, "You Should Be Paying Me", "International Blow", "Real Recognize Real" in stores. I've got, "Check A Real Nigga Out" coming, produced by Pakslap from the Bay. I've also got, "My Other Brother" coming. It's my next solo. You feel me? My nigga's on that shit. I've got a lot of things coming. I've been working hard.
TRM: Have you been doing tours lately?
JB: Not really. I've had some shows out-of-state, like in KC. I'm coming out to Seattle with Berner. I just got back from London. I did a little music here and there with a few of my boys. It was fun. We didn't hit Amsterdam. We had a great time, though. The flight was about 12 hours. I practically slept through it.
TRM: Right. What's the new video popping?
JB: I'm working on, "Punk Hoes" with Philthy Rich. We're just finishing up with it. I'm about to knock out a video with my daughter, too. She's on my new album so we're going to get that done. I let Bo Jackson do the video. He's cool.
TRM: That's what's up. Now, can you tell everybody about the beginning of your career? I'm definitely proud to witness your success. Tell us how it all began. Make us see from the eyes of Joe Blow.
JB: It all started when I did the song, "Shooters" with Jack. When I got on it, it ended up being a big song. You feel me? It helped people see me as I got out there. I guess the music that I've been putting out was at par with their standards because they continue to work with us. So I just keep dropping, keep working, keep trying to get better, keep it mobbing.
TRM: Tell me about the places you have been, out-of-state.
JB: I've been to Seattle, Portland, Vegas, KC, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Atlanta. I've been everywhere, bro.
TRM: Right. Let me say this. We're all kind of mobbed out and because of that, we're eating real well. Tell 'em what place you like eating at when you go out of town.
JB: Let me tell you about this one place in Ohio where we eat steak, eggs and hash browns for breakfast. The food is so good. It's at a cheque cashing spot that even doesn't look like it's open. You've got to be from around there to even know that they serve food. Best food you've ever had in your life. If I'm in KC, I go to Gates for really good barbecue. I also like, Go Chicken, Go! I just can't get enough of that.
